You have a very good captain. This is the right decision

This is the only series of commands that will save your ship! The emergency turn throws the entire ship over to starboard violently. Men are smashed against the ship's walls. The entire deck tilts crazily and as you look over the port side you see a massive wall of steel rush by only a few feet away.

You look up to see the cruiser's crew staring at you. Their faces are bone white in fear and horror. . . . . . and then the other ship is gone. You have survived! There is no collision!

Your lookouts now stare to starboard to make sure your ship's sudden turn doesn't cause another collision. In a few minutes the ship resumes its course.

Everyone is safe, but you realize that only your captain's quick thinking saved the ship. Later you think back to some of the ships that weren't so lucky - like the Fraser and the Margaree.
