Naval Headlines: After V-E day
HMCS St. Laurent, Ottawa, Kootenay, and Saskatchewan make their final voyage across the Atlantic, carrying Canadian soldiers home from Scotland to Canada. The ships then sail to Sydney, NS for their final clean out before being paid off.
Congratulations, Petty Officer! You have survived World War Two. You and your fellow sailors will return to Canada over the next six months.Be proud of what you have accomplished - but never forget those who died while fighting to defend our freedom.
