November 22nd - Due to the high casualties from the Normandy and Scheldt campaigns the Canadian Government agrees to send conscripted soldiers, called "zombies", overseas. The decision is extremely popular across Canada, except in Quebec. None of the conscripts end up seeing combat duty.
