Your two destroyers continue to follow the damaged minelayer and T-boat. You fire star shells as necessary to keep an eye on the T-boat. You engage in a running gun fight until the German minelayer is nothing but a burning hulk. You finish it off with a torpedo. The T-boat slips away during the gun fight but you let it go. You are getting too close to the French shore and more German minefields. You head back to base in the morning. Your patrol has done well. Two enemy ships badly damaged, one sunk. You learn that Allied aircraft finished off the damaged T-boat just after dawn.
