The emergency turns are a desperate tactic but they work! The first three times your ship narrowly misses the U-Boat, and the sub's cannon continues to do damage. The fourth time the U-Boat is not as fortunate. Your bow cuts the sub in half and it sinks in seconds. Your ship suffers major bow damage. Emergency crews have to seal off the front compartments to control the flooding and the ship limps along a half speed. You have been ordered back to Canada for extensive repairs, but your crew is very happy - you got the U-Boat! Thanks to your efforts your convoy is now a a little safer.
