Armoury Test #1: Parade Drill
Welcome to your first week of training, Recruit!
You report to the local armoury. You are put into a long line, four rows deep, and told to stand in a slightly relaxed posture, but close to Attention ("Parade Rest")
with your rifle resting beside you ( this is known as "Order Arms").
Your training officer barks out a series of commands:
"Shun"! "Shoulder ARMS"! "Mark Time"! "Left Turn, Quick MARCH"! "Right Wheel"! "Present ARMS"
What did your training officer tell you to do? Put these actions in the correct sequence:
1. March on the spot at 120 paces per minute
2. Everyone turns left at the same time and marches forwards at 120 paces per minute
3. Take your rifle and in a throwing motion hold its stock with your right hand, while the barrel rests on your right shoulder
4. The entire column makes a 90 degree turn to the right, one row at a time
5. Raise your rifle off your shoulder. Hold it vertical in front of you with two hands. Turn your head to the right as a salute while you continue marching
6. Stand at full attention
