Service Flying Training School Test #2

Here are some of the steps of a successful landing.
Put them in the correct order from beginning your
descent to the final stop and engines off.

 1. Keep the numbers painted at the end of the runway just
visible through over the nose of the airplane.

 2. Reduce engine power further, gently pull back on the stick
  to "flare" the aircraft.

 3. Reduce power to the engine to cut airspeed to 1.3 X stall
speed. Align the airplane's flight path with the runway
  centerline.

4 Use the wheel brakes and rudder to steer the plane to its
  stopping point.

 5. Deploy the plane's flaps. Lower the landing gear.

6.Continue to use back pressure on the control wheel to
keep the nose up. Fly just a few inches above the
runway's surface until it loses flying speed and the main
  wheels "bump" on the tarmac.
