British experience in the Boer War shows that "A" is the best answer. Direct assault in a series of waves will lead to victory.
Choice B refers to using something called a "tank". What's this? No one has heard of such a weapon.
Crawling forwards might work, but it is far too slow. Your men will be exposed to enemy rifles and artillery for a long time before they get close.
This won't work. The trench lines go on for hundreds of kilometres, so there is no way to get around a flank. Bunching up soldiers in two groups will just get them killed by massed enemy rifle fire.
